This 25 gram Pewter Titanium Candy Pearls powder is a great pigment for creating your very own deep metallic grey pearl tinted clears in both custom paint or powder-coating applications. It will mix well with any clear paints or tinted candy paints.  Candy pearl has a temperature threshold of about 400 degrees fahrenhiet. It is a very fine powder and will spray well through airbrushes, powder guns, and HVLP paint guns. This is very light, so it stays well mixed in paint without settling too fast in your gun.  Candy Pearls make great tinted clears for light to heavy effects (it’s your choice). One 25 gram bag treats from 1 to 4 quarts of clear. The reflection is multi-colored, and adds a great deal of depth to an auto paint job.

Try this in epoxy resin, polishes, sealers or other coatings for a great custom effect!

Mix this is all types of clear, like epoxy concrete sealer, gel coat on fiberglass, or even in screen printing ink. It can even make a permanent metallic finish on leather!

Recommendations

We recommend 1 bag per sprayable quart of clear for an opaque metallic paint or 1/2 bag (12.5 grams) into a quart of sprayable clear for a more translucent candy like paint. 1/2- 1 bag per pound of clear powder coat. These are all starting ratios. Adjust to fit your job and always spray a test panel first!
